CSM’s 56th Spring Commencement processional was led by CSM Senior Coordinator Transfer Services and Articulation James Spence. The caps, gowns and hoods date to the Middle Ages when monks and students wore them to keep warm in the damp and drafty 12th-century castles and halls of learning. Spence has worked to secure nearly 50 transfer articulations. “Our graduates, as they leave us, they will have such wonderful guaranteed opportunities available to them,” said CSM President Dr. Brad Gottfried in his opening remarks to students and guests. The most recent articulation is for Virginia Tech University.
