CSM’s 57th Spring Commencement processional was led by CSM Professor Rich Siciliano, carrying the college’s ceremonial mace. The caps, gowns and hoods date to the Middle Ages when monks and students wore them to keep warm in the damp and drafty 12th-century castles and halls of learning.
